Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Estonia Q3 2022

The third quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends among the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Estonia. Here's a detailed look at the performance of these apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a decline in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting with 964 downloads in the last week of June, downloads peaked at 1.4K in mid-July before gradually decreasing to 759 by the end of September.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector showed a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. Downloads spiked to 895 in mid-July and then gradually decreased, hitting a low of 252 in mid-September before slightly rising to 373 by the end of the quarter. Weekly revenue for the app saw a similar fluctuating pattern, peaking at $38 in early September.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation saw a general decline in weekly downloads, with a high of 502 in late June dropping to 205 by mid-September, then slightly increasing to 232 by the end of the quarter. Revenue peaked at $26 in mid-July but remained relatively low throughout the rest of the quarter.

Navicup showed variable download numbers. Downloads peaked at 373 in late August, then dropped sharply to 40 in early September, before recovering slightly to 114 by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth maintained relatively stable download numbers, starting at 120 in late June and ending at 121 in late September. The app saw minor fluctuations, with a peak of 191 downloads in early July.
